I think it might be a good idea to display the number of assigned and available tasks in the Inbox section of Forms.

Whenever I log in and my assigned task list is empty, I glance up to check if there are any available ones, expecting to see a number in parenthesis behind the tab name if there are any. And since there is no number behind the "Assigned", I always wanna assume there aren't any in available.

And while on the subject, would it be possible to switch to the "Available" tab automatically if there are no tasks left in the "Assigned" tab?

These are really just small details, but I think they would be a fairly significant quality of life improvement for a lot of users.
