Custom Date not working YYYYMMDD

Hello,

I am working on a new template that requires a custom date with the following format:

YYYYMMDD however when I enter in today's date 20171121 I get 201711325 ? Am I missing something?

Change the syntax to YYYYMMdd

Case is important
