Question

WebAccess and Word docs

asked on November 14, 2017

Anyone ever seen an issue where a user opens up a Word document and it looks misaligned?  It's only for a user.  When others log in things seem totally fine.

That looks like the built-in PDF viewer. Could it be that this user is viewing the PDF and other users are viewing the pages generated from the PDF? You can switch between the PDF viewer and LF pages by clicking on "Display Options" -> "View PDF".

The weird part is, the document is not a PDF.  It is a word doc (.docx as the extension).  When I open it it downloads to Word.  There are no pages as they cannot snapshot.  It is a process with word documents and versioning.  Having the user check their settings doe viewing an electronic document.

Is it just on the tables within the word doc?  Are the tables by any chance in a weird font that the user with the issue may not have?
