Office365 smtp from within Workflow

Hi,

We have a client that requires us to email from workflow (10.0.0.249) using office 365 smtp.

Issues we are experiencing are;

1. we cannot test the setup from email server properties dialog

2. workflow manages to send emails intermittently

3. error in workflow is only 'Failure sending mail' 

Any ideas how to ensure wf can get mails through 100%?

We have gone through the process of trying all 3 options and we are still experience intermittent success.

Could you open a case with Tech Support? There's not enough information to troubleshoot.
