Forms BP Validation returns workflow error

I have a form that calls a workflow and when I validate the form ( using the check mark icon ) it returns this error:
The workflow for the service task named "Service Task" returned back error: "The remote server returned an error: (400) Bad Request.".

However the form and it's business process run perfectly, including calling the workflow which also executes exactly as intended. The workflow itself validates and publishes without any errors or warnings in the workflow designer.

Any ideas as to what might cause this error? There is nothing in the event viewer on either our Forms or Workflow server. None of our other forms that call workflows generate this error.

Hi Andrew,

What's the name of the Workflow used in this process? Does it contain special characters?

There would be validation error when the name contains some special characters while Workflow actually works.

Thanks Rui, that was it.

I had used an '&' in the workflow name, "Investigation & Information Requests"
Changing that to 'and' removed the validation error.
