Our Server team is in the process of disabling SMB 1 on all internal servers and have inquired if this protocol is in any way required by Laserfiche?

I've seen posts that suggest Laserfiche can use the protocol but I'm not sure if it has any dependency on it? Ie. will anything break if they disable it on the server hosting Laserfiche?
