Unable to rename the created entry document

I'm not really sure what you're asking. %(Entry Path) is the path of the document (or folder) that started this workflow at the time when it started. It does not updated if the entry gets moved during this workflow or by another workflow while this one is running.

Hi Miruna,

Thanks for the reply. I am trying to create an entry and rename the entry as you can seen in the first screenshot it is saving as pdf document in the destination folder and while I am trying to rename the created entry document it is not getting updated. it is showing as "Entry ID-34563- Please revise the fields- Workflow)" .

This is not the entry name I have given in the workflow but from where exactly it could be pulling that info.

Create Entry does not make PDFs. It only makes empty documents. Where is the PDF coming from?

I am using a word document on my server and trying to use source as server attachment in "Update my document" and trying to replace some fields with the assigned token field values and in output documents options- I am choosing create new document as pdf and rename document and attaching that updated word document to created output entry.

Ok, so the document starts out as "%(Entry Name) - %(datetime), then gets a PDF appended to it and renamed. What renames it to "EntryID - %(Entry ID) - Please revise the field values - Workflow)"? Is it another workflow?

Yes document starts out as "%(Entry Name) - %(datetime),then gets a PDF appended to it and renamed to Insurance Renewal Contract -%DateTime . But it is getting renamed to %(Entry ID) - Please revise the field values - Workflow)"?

No this is not another workflow. But it is not taking the renewed document name from update document options section. From where exactly it is trying to pick I am unable to sort out.

Did you try searching in Workflow by entry ID to make sure the document creation is not triggering a different workflow?

Hi Miruna,

Thank you for the reply. there I no another workflow that is getting triggered but after creating the entry and updating the document I am using find entries to find the created entry output_entryID and then trying to rename the created output entry . So it worked.
