Question

9017 Bad field value. [0265-WF10]

asked on October 19, 2017

In Workflow, my PDF's metadata is being populated with a date. I changed one of my metadata fields from a text field to a date field type. Now I am getting this error in my workflow:

The data assigned to field 'End Date' is not valid. 9017 [Bad field value. [9017]] [0265-WF10]

Any idea how to fix this? I am running Forms 10.2.0.834

Could you track the value before it's being set? Does it match the Windows date format on the Workflow server?

Miruna, it isn't tracking all of my tokens from Retrieve LF Form Content, is that normal? They are setup as "Specific tokens"

If it's checked under Specific Tokens and the activity executes, it should be tracked. Are you sure the field has a value on the Forms side, though? Because it might not be in the values we get from Forms if it doesn't have a value.

Also, where are you putting the Track Tokens activity? It needs to be after any activities that you want to track tokens for. So if you are trying to track the tokens from the Retrieve LF Form Content activity you would want to put it directly after that activity. I've made that mistake in the past, that's why I'm asking.

Yes, I am sure - regardless here is another example:

I have a date field on that form, that is supposed to write into a template during save to repo action, the field in the template is Type=Date, Format=Short Date.

This date field is not being saved into the template.

Only some tokens are being tracked, not all that I specified.

I don't know how but it looks like the issue somehow resolved itself, weird!!
