Best practices have you applying security at the folder level rather than the document level, so copying security when you move a document isn't really a workable solution.  On top of that, there's no guarantee that the trustees in one repository are recognized in the other.  Your best bet is to set up the security you want at the folder and group level, and have moved documents inherit rights from the existing structure.
