Unidentified Documents Not Being Assigned Template Despite It's Configuration

asked on October 13, 2017 Show version history

I have a QF session that I setup so that unidentified documents are allowed to store. I set the repository, login, template, and Folder. However, when I store the unidentified documents they are not taking on the template and instead No Template is assigned to those documents. Am I missing something?

Using QF 10.1.0.168

Not sure what happened, but after closing Quick Fields and then going back into the session it showed the template was not setup for Unidentified Documents even though I published the changes. I made the change again, published it, closed QF, and then opened it again and it is working correctly now.

Are there any document classes in the session that have no template?  Could it be getting identified as one of the classes and not actually being stored as unidentified?

Nope, the document shows up correctly under the Unidentified Documents section.

This is still an issue. Is there a fix?

Hi Chris,

There haven't been any product changes made to address this. If you follow the steps that Blake mentioned in his answer, does it resolve the issue for you?

It saves in QF client, but if I validate the session for use with agent, I get Unidentified docs do not have storage information.... But they do, at least as far as I can tell.
