Question

The requested operation could not proceed because the target volume's configured size limit has been reached.

Hello

One of our staff members is using client desktop Laserfiche 9.1, scanning documents with a Fujitsu scanner. He received a "Scanning Output to Laserfiche" error with the following statement: The requested operation could not proceed because the target volume's configured size limit has been reached. I have looked into the management console and cannot find a permissions issue. Any direction on this would help.

It's not a permission issue. The volume in question has a maximum size set and it's full. Either increase its size or set Laserfiche Scanning to use a different volume.

I am sure you have found a resolution to this issue by now but I wanted to reply in case anyone else ran into the same issue that we had.

One of our customers created a new user and she was unable to store her scanned documents from Laserfiche Scanning and she would get this error. Everyone else could scan into the Volume just fine and this user could manually create documents in this volume successfully as well.

The issue was isolated to just this user when scanning and the fix ended up being to recreate her Windows 10 profile.
