Hi Team,

I would like to know how many documents (2 - 5 MB) can be imported in a minute with multiple profiles set up monitoring multiple folders on a network drive (Server with high end processor). The idea is to assess the time required to import a large number of documents from a network folder utilising the multi thread functionality of Import agent.

Hi Binpin,

It depends on what kind of documents you would like to import and which processes may be involved.

out test (8 threads):

Environment:

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790 CPU @3.6GHZ, 8 Logical Processors

Disk: Samsung SSD 850 Evo, Sequential Read 540MB/s, Random Read 98K IOPS

Network: 1000Mbps

If electronic file, 550MB per minute

If PDF with generating page, 35MB per minute

if image, 520MB per minute

if image with OCR, 18MB per minute

On average, 8 thread is 4.5 times of 1 thread.
