Question

DMZ and Web Access Configurations

asked on October 6, 2017

Does anyone know of a  white paper to give to an IT group for setting up a DMZ for Web Access.  I need to provide documentation to them on which ports need to be opened on both ends...

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Hi Jennifer,

We have a white paper detailing the required ports for each applications that you can find at the following link: https://support.laserfiche.com/resources/3490/default-network-ports-for-laserfiche-products

You need 80/443 and 5051 open for Web Access and the Laserfiche Server to communicate with each other.

If this is a Laserfiche Rio 10.2.1 deployment using Laserfiche Directory Server's Security Token Service for SSO/auth, you'll also want to look at the documentation for that: https://www.laserfiche.com/support/webhelp/Laserfiche/10/en-us/administration/Default.htm#../Subsystems/LFDS/Content/separate-sts.htm
