Hello, I have a form with some specific fields. When loading the form the fields are hidden, but depending on a search rule should be displayed. The action takes one or two seconds after the form loads.

Is there a way to run the search rule before the form is displayed?

Not really. Any solution for this is likely to be very hacky, and more like masking the slow load and probably not worth the effort.

The only ways I can thing to achieve are as follows:

1)Hide entire form until lookup is complete.

2)Create a loading overlay, that sits on top of the form until the lookup is completed.

I'm not sure if anyone has any other ideas for this but as for actually changing the order laserfiche generates the forms, that's a no-go, the best you can do is mask it.

@████████came up with a nice spinner that is displayed while the form and lookups load. We have a similar form that takes a few moments to load and his spinner was a nice overlay.
