Hello,

I have a municipal client that is inquiring about relevance ranking within Weblink. I know that this isn't really a Weblink question per say, but I'm just providing some context. They are concerned with how the relevance ranking works because of historical documents. Often times cities will perform conversions and scanning projects for historical documents. Their concern is that once these files become text searchable, they might actually be more relevant based on context hits, but if they're documents that are 70 years old, they're probably not actually the most relevant.

Can anyone provide any insight on how the relevance formula works beyond it being sophisticated or complex?
