Advanced E-mail Settings In Workflow For Attachments

asked on September 26, 2017

I am using the e-mail activity and workflow and it works fine when I check the box "Combine all entry attachments into one attached file."  When I uncheck the box I get an error message that says:

Insufficient system storage. The server response was: 4.3.1 Insufficient system resources

The attachment is only a 1 MB PDF so it should be able to send without being zipped.  Workflow automatically names the zip file attachment.zip

Is there anyway to send this file uncompressed, if not is there a way to give the zip file a name that is more specific than attachment.zip?

Thanks!

This is a mail server error, not a Laserfiche one. Either the mail server is out of disk space or, more likely, the recipient's mailbox is out of space.

thanks! I will work with my IT group to look into the mail server.  In the meantime, is there a way to change the name of the attachment when workflow e-mails a zip file?  right now it just send the zip file as attachment.zip

I don't think there is an issue with the recipient's mailbox because when I send the file from my own Outlook account it goes through fine regardless of it is compressed or not.

Workflow is sending the e-mail from my account and my e-mail account has 11 gigs free.  Also, the e-mail account that Workflow uses has 25 gigs free.

I just tried to run it again with Workflow sending it the PDF uncompressed and it worked.  My guess is that the error I received earlier was something flukey
