service stopping invalid object

This morning, the password was reset for the AD user attached to our laserfiche server.  We were able to get services restarted for the most part, but Forms still will not come up.  I am getting the error "invalid object".  There may be some place that email password is stored that I can not find.  Can anyone help?

Did you check IIS to see what identity/account the Forms Application pool is utilizing?

I looked this morning and it was using the same one that got reset. So my only thought is that IIS has the password stored somewhere else as well.

I am guessing you have rest the password. To do that:

  1. Select the FormsAppPool
  2. Click on Advanced Settings... to the right.
  3. Click in the box for Identity and you see '...', click on the 3 dots
  4. Click on Set
  5. Then enter the account credentials <domain>\username and enter its password twice [this should be the new password that it was changed to].
  6. Then click OK through out and try. You ma need to recycle your app.
