LFDS Supported Versions

Hi All,

 

I'm a little confused as to what LFDS supports as I'm getting conflicting answers.

 

Please can somone from LF clairfy what versions of Laserfiche are supported with LFDS 10.2.1, for example can you have LFDS 10.2.1 and run LF server version 9.2.1? Or would you have to have LFDS 10.2.0 or version 9? I really want to get our enterprise customers off license manager but they are not in a position to upgrade from LF9.2.1 for a little while yet.

There is no Directory Server 10.2.1. Currently, Directory Server 10.2 requires Laserfiche Server version 10.2.1 or Laserfiche Server 10.1 Update 3 (KB 1013882), per KB 1013877.

So I'm right in thinking that if you are running server 9.2.1, the highest version of LFDS you can install is 9.2.1?

At this time, yes. Though a patch that will make the 9.2.1 server compatible with LFDS 10.2 should be coming out in the next week or so.

Thanks Miruna, this is great news for our customer. They are desperate to get forms essentials into their sandbox, but are not in a position to upgrade the LF Production server just yet.
