Forms signature field while using hand writing on tablet not allowing to sign on full box?

Hi All,

 

Not sure if this has been mentioned or advised, 

I have a form set with a signature field that has both draw or type signature selected. If the user is drawing the signature, we have found that the signature field does not allow you to sign the whole area of the field? 

 

There is like a white space within the field that cannot be used? When the user is signing near the line, it is fine, but once he goes higher up when signing, the field does not register anything? 

 

Has anyone seen/experienced this? We are using an iPad to test these forms, with the latest version of Laserfiche Forms and the App.

Hi Ziad,

I believe that the signature field in iOS is working as intended. The drawing area is just smaller than the entire white space in the popup. We should put in a visual indicator of some sort so that the user is aware of how large the writing area actually is.

Are there still plans to add a visual indicator for signature fields in iOS? The section outlined is the only section that will accept the signature.
