Question

Edit Forms "Start Process" page

asked on September 17, 2017

Good Day All

I need to organize the “Start Process” page in Laserfiche Forms.

I need to create Folders and add the Forms into those folders example:

There must be a HR folder and underneath the HR folder must be the Leave form.

We did it with Landing Management but we need to send out serval URL to the users.

I need the “Start Process” page to look like the Process library page where you can filter based on a category

Any Idees

Hi August,

I am pretty sure there is no way to create folders within the Start Process page.  ( It would be a nice feature there and on the Manage )

You could name your processes with an identifier,  such as adding HR: to all your HR forms.  ( HR: Leave ).
Then you can use the process filter to only show HR forms.   We use this type of naming standard just to keep our growing list of forms organized.    (Note if you change a form name you would also need to update any associated workflows that retrieve data.)

You could then send out a URL for the Start Process page that would automatically apply the filter for whatever group you need.   This would automatically filter for any contained HR:
http://Your_Server_Name/Forms/Home/StartProcess#/processes?limit=20&offset=0&filter=HR:&sortprocesses=name_asc&islistview=true

Might not be exactly what you are looking for but a bit closer?

Thanks all for the reply's.

We are developing a form within a form ( I know this don't make sense) We have a starting form that acts as a start page with hyperlinks to other forms with in the same group I have attached a screenshot.

I'm looking to do the same thing August.  As our list of current processes continues to grow, there will definitely be a need for the ability to organize.

This goes along the same lines as this feature request. Your idea is a little different because you would create folders instead of tags.
