Question

LFClientInteraction Error: An error occurred while closing connection '0'. [0204-C0]

asked on September 7, 2017

Our custom software application uses the Laserfiche Client Automation API 9.0 to launch Laserfiche scanning. When calling the LFClientInteraction.LaunchScanning method on a specific client, the Laserfiche scanning application opens with the following error:

Then the user can scan and save the document, but the following error is thrown back to our application even though the scan was successful:

Scanning Error -1.

This seems environmental. Could it be a corrupt installation of the SDK on that station or any other ideas how we can work to resolve this?

What version of the LF client is this? You might just need to apply the latest hotfixes. If that isn't it, the next step is to open a support case so we can get trace logs.
