How to change the default volume for new folders and documents ?

Hi all,

 

I added a new volume (LASERFICHE CPI).

 

I want the new folders and documents save automatically to this new volume.

But each new folder use the default volume "DEFAULT"

 

How can I change the default Volume from "DEFAULT" to "LASERFICHE CPI"?

What's the default volume of the CPI folder set to? If you create a new folder, then it will use its parent folder's default volume as its own default volume.

If you change the default volume of the CPI folder to "LASERFICHE CPI" then any new folders created under it will also use "LASERFICHE CPI" as its default volume and then as long as the newly created documents are set to "use parent folder's default volume" as its default volume then it should behave as you're intending.

Actually, the CPI folder set to DEFAULT. So all my new folder inside will be set to DEFAULT, right? If I change the default CPI's volume from DEFAULT to "LASERFICHE CPI", then all my new folder will be set to "LASERFICHE CPI", but what's going on with my old folders inside?
