Experience with Artificial Intelligence and Robotic Processing Automation with Laserfiche

asked on September 3, 2017 Show version history

Hello,

A potential customer is looking at using RPA for their organisation. Does anyone have any experience with integrating such technology with Laserfiche? IBM have an offering but can this be used with Laserfiche?

Uses in mind:

  • People-free workflow with Machine Learning or Cognitive Processing
  • Auto-classification of unstructured data sources (older style Knowledge Management products mighty fit this bill, to)

I suspect with enough linguistic rules, I could use the current workflow to provide similar features. but wth my lack of knowledge, such functionality would be very redimentary. Does Laserfiche have an offering or can recommend a product to integrate with?

Hi Cosette,

I'll get back to you on that. I was chatting to someone working at organisation who was getting in the technology. I've typed all I know for now. I'll get back to you after discovering more. I was hoping you might know more about than technology than I do, and could fill in the blanks.

Hi Ben. If you are looking for RPA today, check out Ratchet-X in the Laserfiche Marketplace. Not only do we have an Action Pack for Laserfiche, but under the hood is the entire Ratchet-X RPA platform that provides attended, unattended and hybrid bot functionality. For more, check out www.ratchetsoft.com.

We've trailed Blue Prism with Laserfiche and it seems to work with Laserfiche Client / Workflow. But we have only mimicked user actions.

Hi Ben,

We're interested in knowing if you have some more specific use cases.
