Question

Log in to forms if a named user on a public form

asked on August 29, 2017

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has ran in to this. I have a public form that a user has but they want their employees to log in before filling out the form to capture data. Is there a way to request them to log in or pass credentials with SSO before showing them the form and if it does not log in successfully it just shows them form?

Essentially we have users not logging in first when submitting a form and we want them to be able to capture that data. We also want public non authenticated users to also be able to submit the forms.

Id say you are probably better off having 2 copies of the same form one for public and one for authenticated users. There are some other things you can do if you need the same form, but it depends on what you are using the form for.

Are public and authenticated users presented with the same fields?

Are any fields being pre-filled with user specific date?
