Laserfiche snapshot document properties

I have a user who is having issues with her Laserfiche Snapshot. When utilizing the Laserfiche Snapshot every time she prints the document properties name keeps populating the same name for every document(2017_125497_facesheet.pdf) and the folder is always (\). Another user doing the same thing when using Laserfiche Snapshot noticed that under document properties name is "C1Document" every time and the folder path is set to \PIR which is how we would like the other user to be setup. How do we get rid of the same name that is populating every time and how do we get her folder path to automatically route to a specific folder instead of having to select it every time?

Hi Shanley,

The reason why this is happening is most likely because the user hit the option to save the settings as a default profile. When you're logged into Snapshot, go ahead and check the "Advanced" tab to see if there's a default profile under the "Profile management" section.

If there is a profile there, you can always delete it, or you can always set up the document properties as you want them to be configured, and then hit the "Save" button to keep those settings.

Hi Anita,

We have tried to delete the default profile multiple times and keep getting a "Unable to delete default profile" message. Is there a way to update the default profile? Or alternate solution?

Hi Shanley,

All you have to do is configure your settings as you want them and hit "Save," not "Save As..." which will update your default profile.
