Hi.

I have a case where users are unable to view Office documents using the mobile app. The mobile version installed on the server is 10.1.0.624. When selecting an Office document a message saying "This electronic file cannot be previewed. Open the document in a supported application" and the associated supported apps are shown at the bottom of the screen. Selecting any one of the supported apps provides the same result - another message saying "Can't open file. Try saving the file on the device and then opening it."

I have tried opening the same Office documents on different mobile device types including an iPad and the results are always the same. The Android app version on the devices I have tested this with is 10.2.3.1238. I was unable to obtain the app version that was on the iPad.

If I access the same Office documents using the web client on Chrome from the device the Office documents open with no issues. I click on the document name, then I click on the link to view the electronic file and then I click on the link to open the file and the file opens in the associated Office application.

I have tested this with Office 2007 and Office 2013 documents with the same results.

Has anyone seen this problem before?
