How to delete the temporary file from a briefcase

When I create a briefcase to export images, if the case weighs 1 GB in the disk it takes an additional 1 GB and it is filling the disk, where I can eliminate this disk space that is taking me.

How do you create the briefcase? Where do you see the extra files left after the briefcase creation is complete?
