Question

Failing first page or last page identification in Quick Fields

asked on August 18, 2017

Hello,

I have a user who has created a Quick Fields session that performs database lookups and then matches the values to tokens values within the session. They are currently able to get the lookup to fail and throw a warning "no Match Found" during Page Identification, what they don't want it to do though is still create the document based on the other criteria in the page identification portion of the session.

Is there a way to have Quick Fields fail identification if the look up doesn't return any results?

Thanks!

Lookup only extracts the value. You need to run it through a Token Identification process if you want to set conditions on it (something like checking if the lookup token is empty or not would probably work in this case).
