Laserfiche Forms encountered an internal error. Please try again. [LFF500-InternalError]

asked on August 9, 2017 Show version history

I built a Form and yesterday when submitting;  received Error Code LFF502 - which I tracked down to a Services Error - while looking in the Instances monitoring today I tried to look at the Form and received another Error Code LFF500. Has anyone encountered this or know what it is?

Any help would be appreciated.

Could be many things, but one thing that I found one time to work for me is this. Open the form from within LF Forms and then just open the title of the form and click "Done". Then try the form in the browser. See screenshot below.

Again, could be many things, but I found out that this worked for me. It usually can be if the Form Title has some type of HTML tag.

Wendi,

We had a few Forms processes encounter the same kind of error(s) when variables on the form had lost their names. Open up the form editor and check the Variables section to see if any are missing a name; there's a chance you might be having the same problem.

okay - I did both and we restarted the server due to the LFF502 error and I'm happy to report - IT WORKS!!!

Thank you both for the assistance! :)
