web client cannot delete annotation

I have a user that is starting to use Web Client (initiated using the Connector widget). The user needs to work a document and apply a stamp to the document retrieved in the web client viewer. The one workstation/user cannot delete an (stamp) annotation even though she just applied it and saved the document.

I have checked access rights she has effective rights of annotate allow and see annotations allow; the same as I do. Also, if she uses the Laserfiche Desktop Client; she has full access. We thought it was the web client since that is new to us; but, I can delete annotations on my computer signed in as me; she cannot delete on her computer signed in to Web Client as her. Please help, I don't have any more ideas on this one.

What version of Web Access are you using? Is the Stamp Public or Private?

Does it give any kind of an error message when they try to delete the stamp? It is the same username when they open web access through connector and when they log in straight to web access? Connector doesn't use a username of it's own?

no error message; the stamp annotation gets the "selected" markings; and I'd expect the delete button to work on the "selected" thing. but, there is no message - it just does nothing.

The Web Access client is set to auto login using windows credentials. the 'can't delete' issue exists when she is using the viewer doesn't even close the document; just open doc; apply stamp; trys to delete stamp.

Connector logs her in using the Web Access setting of auto long using windows credentials. - I can see her name in the upper right corner as my verification for the login credentials. thanks for helping BTW :)

This might sound basic but instead of using the delete button after it is selected, do you see the delete option if you right-click on the stamp? This may help narrow down where the problem is. If she can right-click and use the Delete option it might be a completely different issue using the delete key on the keyboard.

great -- so, right click the delete is greyed out; we have tried clicking it anyway - doesn't do anything.

If the option is greyed out it appears to be a permissions thing. I know you said you already checked the permissions but could you post screenshots of both the user/group rights assigned in Admin console plus the folder rights for the folder the document is in?
