Hyperlink in email

asked on July 25, 2017 Show version history

I am sending emails to notify a workflow participant that a document needs their approval. The problem I am having is that the url shows up as normal text and not a hyperlink. See example below, how do I make this a hyperlink? I am using "Generate Web Access URL" to create the URL.

In the email you will have to use HTML to format the link.  Something like - Please click on the <a href="insert the link or token between the quotes">link</a>.

This would make just the word link be the link to the address.

Can you provide a screenshot of how your email is set up in the workflow and how the Generate URL activity is set up?

I found that the email tool provided by the customer when rendering the email as HTML did not show it a hyperlink but if switched to text it then showed as a hyperlink.

To be clear this issue is now resolved, thanks for the help, I appreciate.

See URL config below...
