Forms Ver. 10 Inbox Quirks

We just upgraded to Forms Ver. 10 and have noticed some usability issues. I realize the preview with ability to approve is no longer there. And I get logged out for no apparent reason, but I've seen others Q&A's on that. So I was just wondering if others experience the same thing and might provide ideas on the following:

1. When I click on a task to open, it hides behind the Forms window and is not maximized. I must then double-click on the task to have the task window move to the front. I've gotten used to double-clicking, but it goes against just being able to click once on a link.

2. The task window is not maximized. I have to maximize to see the buttons at the bottom, otherwise, they're off the screen.

3. I must refresh constantly to update the Inbox.

Anyone one having these quirky issues with Ver. 10 Forms? If so, how'd you solve them?

Hi Gloria,

Can you check if you have the option that forces windows to become active upon mouse over enabled?

2. (UPDATED) If the inbox window is not maximized, the new window is supposed to be the same size as original window;

If the inbox window is already maximized, it was a bug that part of the new window would be off screen using IE. This should be fixed in next release, sorry for the inconvenience.

3. To update inbox in real time, the notification service is needed. Can you check if the notification service is properly configured and test connection work on Formsconfig site?

#3 is all set. Notifications was not even installed. We installed and it's now running and working beautifully. Still not having any luck with #1 or #2. Submitting issue to our VAR.
