Web Client generate link to download folder

Hello,

We would like to generate a link in Workflow to automatically download the contents of a folder from the Web Client. A similar option exists in Workflow to Export and Download an item if it is an Electronic document, however I am not seeing a built in way to do this with a folder. Is this possible?

Hello,

Your solution is what we have them doing right now, but I was hoping there was a way to generate a link to the ZIP file that is provided after clicking the download button in Web Client.

By the way, you shouldn't even need to select anything in the Web Client to download the entire folder as a ZIP, just click the download button and it zips up the contents of the folder automatically.

Hi Jesse,

To the best of my knowledge, it is not possible to allow an end user to download an entire folder via a link generated in Workflow.

However, if you provide the user a link to the folder (which is possible with the "Generate Laserfiche Web Client URLs activity), they should be able to select all -> download after clicking the link. I just tested this out and it works fine.
