FEATURE REQUEST: Easier Linking of Documents

Linking documents right now requires that a user select one of the two records, select the option of linking, and then finding the second document to link to. If I find the two documents via search, it's quite the hassle to go back, figure out where the second document lives, and then finding it again through the linking tool. This could be much simpler by selecting the two documents and linking the two. This would also be great for when you're linking more than one document!

How would you envision setting which document is one end of the link and which is on there other in the case of, say, a Message/Attachment link?

Would you see this feature only work for 2 documents in the same location or search results? Or would you like to see it work for documents located in completely different locations?

I would suppose that if you selected multiple documents, you would have to designate what kind of relationship it is initially. If it's message/attachment, then it will allow you to designate one as the message and the rest as attachment. If it is a cross reference, then all will be designated as such.

I would like to see it work for multiple documents, in different locations.
