can you use quick fields server in laserfiche cloud

I have a Laserfiche Cloud Client that just purchased Quick Fields. I was going to install the original QF app and set up sessions for them.

My question can LF Cloud users use Quick Fields server and Quick Fields scanning? Is there any white papers or instructions on this?  TIA  Wendi

Yes, Quick Fields Server can be used with Cloud repositories. The server would have to be installed on premises. Nothing really changes in how Quick Fields and Quick Fields Server work. The only thing that's slightly different is how the repository is specified (on the login dialogs in Quick Fields, both the server and the repository are in the r-12345678.laserfiche.com format and "use SSL" is on. The repository ID can be found on the Plan page in the account properties in the Cloud Customer Portal).

Hello Miruna,

I have a customer who followed the steps you listed above and they are getting the following error:

 

Received bad response from the server 

 

Any Advice you have would be great,
