Windows user appears as there Sid's numbers instead of there names

I have a customer that when they do a advance search in LF client under users, they now see the list of window users as there Sid's instead of there names.

If they look under windows users in the LF admin console it is listed with there names.

Do you have a idea why it would do this?

These might be deleted users that still have security assigned, or the windows client is not able to contact the domain controller to lookup the user names.

Recently we have one user had the same problem, leaving and re-joining the domain for that PC solved the problem.
