Forms direct approval - invalid responses

What happens when a user receives an email for direct approval and types "okay" on the first line instead of "approve" or "reject"? Does the reply error out, does it stay in the inbox folder indefinitely? Does Forms have a way of handling this situation so the process can somehow continue?

Hi Sheila,

If the user replies with a term that does not correspond to an action button, the instance will simply not move forward and still stay in the Inbox of that user to perform the task.

"If the user responds with the wrong action name, he or she will receive an email notifying them action does not exist."
