Programmatically check for 9421 - invalid search catalog status

There are many posts about the Error 9421 - invalid search catalog status.  This is where The LF Administration Console shows that the index is Not Ready. Usually, we have a problem doing a search and finally realize we should check the Admin Console for this property state.

If there any way to check for this in the SDK?

It would really help if we could run a utility to check it periodically and send an email if the catalog needs to be re-created.

Not sure about using the SDK but doesn't that error appear in the Event Log of the server?  You could go to the error in the Event View and click 'Attach Task to this Event'.  Basically Laserfiche would not handle this but Windows could notify you via email when a certain event happens.

That's a good idea. I just set it up and it was easy to do.  I hope it works.

The only thing is the error occurs every half minute.  So I hope we don't get 120 emails every hour!  But I guess that's better than nothing.

No problem.  May want to start up a case with your VAR to find out why that error is happening.  It certainly should not be happening that frequently.
