DB look ups - Offline Forms - Minimum Android version?

Hi,

I have recently had an issue where the table look ups aren't working in an offline form. I have tracked this back to the version of Android that is being used.

Does anyone know the minimum android version that supports  table looks when using an offline form?

I have:

Samsung galaxy tab 10.1: Android Version 4.1.2 = Does not work

Samsung POS phone: Android Version 4.4.4 = Works

Samsung S6 Edge = Android Version 6.0.1 = Works.

All phones/tab work when online, just when the forms is processed in offline mode.

 

I just wouldn't mind knowing the answer.

Hi Gary,

Android supports 4.0.3 and later. It sounds like a bug to me.

Is there any error message available? When you say it doesn't work, is it when you fill in the form, there's no value populate the fields, or there's error making db offline? 

Have you tried re-install the app？

Thanks for the reply. 

There is no error messages, It doesn't populate the fields. They are just blank.

I did try installing the app. It didn't change anything.

I think I'll just recommend A.V 4.4.x onwards

Hi Gary,

We found this as a bug for lower version of Android. We are fixing it in the upcoming hotfix of the app, which will be in store within a week or so, depending on the app store's processing time.
