Web Access Import Multiple Outlook Messages

Given the following steps:

1. Import Multiple Outlook Messages to Web Access at the same time. ( Drag and Drop for Outlook or select and drag and drop multiple .msg files from File Explorer)

2. Template has Required Fields

3. Populate the Required Fields with %(Parent)

( Parent Folder has valid metadata, works fine with non message files

4. Choose "Apply ..... all imported.."

The first .msg file will Import fine but subsequent files you receive an error regarding Required Fields not having values.

Issue occurs whether or not the messages have attachments.

Tried making sure to set the Options for Message Files to the same Template but still experience the same error.

Hi William,

Thanks for reporting this and I apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused. We can reproduce this issue internally, both on 10.1 and the latest version, Web Client 10.2.1. I filed a bug report (Bug ID 30324 for your reference). We'll look to fix this issue in a future release.

We have another customer with the same behaviour.

Just wondering if this has been addressed as of yet?

Hi William,

We haven't released a fix for the issue yet. We're looking into fixing the issue for the Laserfiche 10.3 release, due for release Q4 2017.
