Yes, we are creating documents in this particular Logical volume. How would it be possible to create documents in particular physical volume (that part of the logical)?

Customer also have number of historic logical volumes, where max size was set to anywhere from less than 1 to 4 GB, containing dozens of physical volumes. Currently customer is trying to consolidate these physical volumes to much larger sizes, but under same Logical volume. To do that,

-Max size of Logical volume was reset to 50GB

-We search for documents by Volume ID of the physical volume(with smallest number in the name) that belongs to this Logical volume. Than we migrate documents returned by search to same Logical Volume. Sometimes Volume rollover occurs as predicted at 50 GB, but usually number is anywhere from 30 to over 110 GB.
