Forms Calculation

asked on May 16, 2017

Hello,

I just recently updated to forms 10.2 from 9.1 and am trying to get a total for each department. The subtotal in each row is calculated via Javascript by calculating (miles*rate)+misc expense. My calculation for each department is not working. Any ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Hi Tiffany,

I tried the same formula and it worked for me.

And checking your formula, there is a "cost-center" variable which seems to be wrong: the variable name does not accept "-" as valid character.

So can you check if the variable name is correct? If it does contain the "-", can you try update it?

Thanks for your response. The cost center variable is cost-center. I added another column named Account to see if that would would work and I still receive the same error.

Is your "Subtotal" field a single line field? The SUMIFS only accept number/currency field as the first argument.

As for the error, can you show the updated calculation formula, and the "Account" field property? It seems to be that the variable used is not presented in table.

Thanks for your help. Here are screenshots of the fields.

I didn't find anything wrong and I could not reproduce the issue with the same configurations.

Can you open a support case and provide the process? Thanks.
