Feature Request: Ignore Data When Applying Field Rules

asked on May 16, 2017

In LF Forms there is currently an option to "Ignore the data when the field is hidden". This is great for not running validation of data when the fields are hidden, but we are seeing issues with Field Rules still being applied when a field is hidden.

For example, If you have a field rule that says when Field A = 1, show Field B. When Field B = 9, show Field C. If you set field A =1 and then Field B =9, but then go back to Field A and change it to 2, Field C still shows.

I don't think it's a common usage to ignore hidden field when triggering field rules. For your case, it would be better to change field rule2 to "show C when A=1 and B=9", which is what you really want.

Do you have any other case for hidden field not triggering field rule?
