Laserfiche Forms- Assigning form to AD groups

What would be the best way to be able to assign a form to an AD group as part of the submission of the form in Laserfiche forms? The process would be for anyone to be able to fill out the form and then select a certain branch to route the form to for completion. By sending it to the branch, everyone from that branch would get an email notification and anyone of them should be able to assign the form to themselves. I was thinking of making a drop down with a list of all the branches but not sure how to tie those to AD groups. We already have AD groups for all our branches.

With Forms 11 Update 2(https://support.laserfiche.com/kb/1014352/list-of-changes-for-laserfiche-forms-11-update-2), you can add AD group to team and the users in the AD group will be automatically synchronized so all the users from the AD group can get email notification when a task is assigned to the team.

Hi, maybe this varies widely based on system configuration, but we found that in order to get the AD groups visible in LF Forms, we had to first create an LFDS group with a single member, the AD group, and then once Forms synchronized, both the LFDS group and the AD group would be visible in LF Forms.  It was as-if the LFDS group was the necessary hook to pull the AD group through.  Xiuhong Xiang, is that what you meant when you said "add AD group to team?"  Thank you

Assign user task to AD group is not supported. Forms only support assign task to a team. You can create corresponding teams for the AD groups for the branches and add all the users of that branch to the team as team member. And then assign task to a team based on variables, and in the variable you can list all the teams as the options to select. In this way, you can dynamic assign task to a team and all the members in the team will receive email notification if email notification is enabled for that task and all the members can assign the task to them self from the team tasks list.

It would be a lot more user friendly if you could assign an AD group to a team or role within a team. Even the option to add Laserfiche groups to a team or role within a team would be welcomed.

I added this to the feature requests list, We will consider this when implement teams in BPM server.

I would also like to see this as a feature as well, a current project for a client uses AD groups for the access rights to a form, and security within the repository but cannot use it for assigning form tasks. This will be a helpful feature for them when a group member changes and they don't need to go into Forms Administration to make the change again.

I see that this publication is from 2017, Forms has this functionality in the latest version?
