Question

Terminate a process if the start event isn't on time.

asked on May 10, 2017 Show version history

This seems like it would be a simple thing, but I'm stumped.

I want to make a process terminate if the form initiating form isn't submitted before a deadline.

Time and date process variables are not listed in the as available in my outflow condition builder.

Thanks

I'm curious if the deadline will be fixed or a changing variable.

If it's fixed, then you could add a hidden date field to your Form.  You would use the current date to populate this field.

This will allow you to select the date field variable for the outflow conditions.

So "today" doesn't change to the current day that the submission is accessed by a user?

Upon submission, "today" will input the current date into the field variable.  So it can change as the form is being accessed by the user, but once it's submitted the date value will lock down.
