Question

How to auto populate/show when doing onchange

asked on May 5, 2017 Show version history

Hi all,

When I'm populating the field "N°SP3E", LFF check my database to find this value and load others informations but I have to click outside the field to populate and show informations.

Here, my field is always selected => I cant see my others informations

Here, i clicked outside the field => others fields are populated and I can see them.

I need to populate and see them with "onchange" but I dont know how to do.

Thank for your help.

This is not supported currently, we are planning to add a feature which can configure the trigger event for lookup rules in next version which may address your issue.

So your lookup rule is to match N°SP3E then fill all other fields on this page? And other fields are hidden when they are empty? Can you always show other fields so that once user fill the first field, they will move the focus out of the field to trigger the lookup rule?

Hi Xiuhong,

Thank you for your help.

So your lookup rule is to match N°SP3E then fill all other fields on this page?  Yes

And other fields are hidden when they are empty?  Yes

Can you always show other fields so that once user fill the first field, they will move the focus out of the field to trigger the lookup rule?  Yes I can, but this is not what I want. I really want to use "onchange" ; I find it more relevant.
