Workflow Question!

asked on May 2, 2017 Show version history

Hello everyone,

This is the question from one of our Clients and as far as I'm aware this hasn't changed so any insight will be greatly appreciated!

"Question regarding passwords not being saved when logging in to complete a workflow.

We've identified that it does not retain the password, but from a security standpoint I am actually ok with this.

The real reason this is a pain for our users is because apparently when completing workflows, the users have to log out after every workflow process is done, and then go to their email, click the next workflow link, and log back in again.

Apparently they do this because in the past if they did not log out, workflow would initiate a new session for them with every new workflow link they clicked, and they would soon be out of available concurrent sessions. Is this still an issue in the newest version of workflow, or can users simply stay logged in click workflow links while staying in the same session?"

Thank you,

Jon

What doesn't retain the password? Are we talking about the Client or Web Access?

Workflow does not initiate any sessions on behalf of users, participating in processes happens through client applications.
