Powershell (or other) tools to add Laserfiche documents

Is there anyway to use powershell to import a document, specify a template, etc?   Doesn't have to be Powershell. I've got a bunch of PDFs to import and and I'd like to simplify things.  Using version 9.

Maybe something already exists.  Not a laserfiche guru. I just got pulled into this.

Import Agent can be used to automate the import process. It can be configured to monitor a folder and import anything put into it. It can also assign metadata and handle PDF page generation.
