Does Laserfiche have the ability to scan multiple page sizes during one scan session?

Hello,

 

I have a user who has to scan in both legal and letter page sizes for one document. Does Laserfiche have the ability to do so? I have tested by setting the scan settings to Legal size, when it brings in the documents, all of them show up but the letter sized documents have a black area added above the top of the page that can't be removed by border removal.

 

Has laserfiche or anyone run into  this?

Hi Charles,

 

This would potentially be a feature that the scanner supports, such as auto page size recognition, and would be handled in the scanner driver. Basically this all boils down to what the scanner supports, not Laserfiche.

In your Scanner settings, look to see if it has an auto crop setting (some may call it "page size detection" or something else).  If so, turn it on (set on, auto, aggressive, or whatever the diver may call it) and set the page size to maximum.  But as Chris states above, not all scanners support this, and I will add that of those that do support this, some are better then others at implementation.
