HTTP Error 403.14 - Forbidden Error - Anonymous User Can't Access Web Access

asked on April 26, 2017

Good Day,

I recently have migrated a Laserfiche server for a customer. Everything is back up and running besides WebAccess. Outside of the network employees are using a public IP to access Laserfiche. I have set up WebAccess and I had to create a webpage myself since Port 80 is already taken. I have replicated everything from the old server to the new server for WebAccess including the webpage on IIS Manager.

For some reason I cannot access Laserfiche using the public IP. I get the following error message:

403 - Forbidden: Access is denied. You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied.

Can anyone tell me how to get access anonymous access to this server?

Hi Robert,

Just to check - when you say you've created a new webpage are you referring to the application in IIS? E.g.

If so, can you check that in your application the following are set.

Under authentication...

Under default document...

Cheers! Dan

Thanks Dan your advice was a huge help. Adding those default documents worked and I am able to connect to the repository remotely.
